The media coverage of Pets and animals with MRSA continued in the days following the events mentioned below. Articles in the Independent, This is London, UK Pets, The Yorkshire Post, News Medical Net, News 24 South Africa all featured the story of Bella.
Early April
TV interviews (ITN London Tonight & GMTV) and as many as 50 other media interviews meant that the story of Bella - and the higher profile being given by veterinary industry figures to the dangers of MRSA - . was being read about all over the world on Tuesday and Wednesday (29-30/3/05). Our friends at Dogs Today, Our Dogs and D for Dogs are supporting our appeal for people who suspect that their dog has suffered from MRSA to come forward so that we can widen the pool of knowledge. The Vet Times has added further comment to the discussion about Bella arising from their recent article.
