SCIENTISTS in Glasgow are to launch a study into the spread of killer superbug MRSA between humans and their pets. The ground-breaking project will look at whether Scots struck down by the infection are passing it on to their dogs and cats. Professor David Taylor, of Glasgow Veterinary School, revealed he had seen 20 cases of animal MRSA over the past two years. Around half are thought to be from the Glasgow area
