Wise Up Syllabus Launched

The Wise Up Syllabus is now available to buy!  This must-have resource for anyone working with teenage girls can now be purchased directly from the Wise Up National Office. 

INTRODUCING WISE UP IN YOUR AREA

The three things you need in order to start a Wise Up group in your area are:

• A group of girls aged between 12 and 16 who are keen to form a group
• A community hall, village hall, church hall or large meeting room available for weekly use
• Two female volunteers, one of whom should have experience in youth work

JESSICA
Jessica has been coming to her Wise Up group for two years.  Always one of the quietest and most awkward girls in the group, her shyness prevented her from ever really engaging with the other girls.  Indeed, she seemed scared of the others and although she came regularly, she would always be reticent and retreat from the crowds.
