The Bella Moss Foundation was once again supported by veterinary student volunteers on its stand at Discover Dogs.

This year, hand hygiene was the theme presented by The Foundation to those that visited the stand, and Peter Purves, Foundation Vice-Patron and Marc Abraham, resident vet on the Paul O’Grady Show and kennel club veterinary advisor were there to help get the message across.

INCA Helps Spread the Word for the Bella Moss Foundation

Inca, a six-year-old Rottweiler that had recovered from MRSA, was present at the Bella Moss Foundation stand at Discover Dogs last weekend to help show that it is perfectly possible to overcome the infection.

CONFERENCE ON MRSA IN PETS

FURTHER research into MRSA in animals is desperately needed, according to expertshis end a conference into the subject is being held aimed at raising awareness among vets about the infection and providing them with more support.

Veterinary scientists from around the world were travelling to Liverpool University on June 18 to take part in the first international conference on MRSA in animals.

MRSA Conference Hailed a Great Success

Richard Dene reports on the first International Conference on MRSA in Animals

AROUND 65 delegates attended the long awaited First International Conference on MRSA in Animals held on the 21st The event, which was organised jointly by the University of Liverpool and The Bella Moss Foundation, brought together some of the vet- erinary world's leading authorities on aspects of MRSA and who presented new information of great importance to veterinarians around the globe. The event was opened by Dr Susan Dawson from the University and Jill Moss, President and founder of The Bella Moss Foundation.
