These remaining organisms, which were resistant prior to coming under attack, once had competition for food, space, and shelter, but now they are without competition from non-resistantforms of the same bacteria, hence they are free to reproduce unabated. Doctors recommend hand washing in soapy warm water. According to doctors, there is really no need for bacterial killing agents in the general population -- unless of course one wishes to help manifest another "super bug."
