Two Lynchburg schools will undergo special cleaning after new cases of the staph infection MRSA were discovered. Sheffield Elementary and Dunbar Middle School will be disinfected during after school hours. A male student at Sheffield Elementary was diagnosed with MRSA on Monday. A second male student at Dunbar Middle received a MRSA diagnosis on Wednesday. Both students are being treated at home with antibiotics.
