A child who attends a Central Florida day care has been diagnosed with methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus infection, more commonly known as MRSA, according to officials. The infection, caused by Staphylococcus aureus bacteria or staph, was discovered in a room for 2 year olds at Kids-R-Kids in Waterford Lakes, officials said.
i have been diagnoised with mrsa which i am sure was picked up in a very 'good" nursing home here in johannesburg.
i had a total hip replacement in 1974 and in 2002 my thigh became very painfull and swollen i was admitted and after xrays and tests i was told that i have this dreded mrsa which keeps oncoming back and have now had three drainage proceduress with no sucsess and have been told by my orthopedic surgeon that there is no known antibiotic for this mrsa strain now i wear a calostomy bag which covers rhe sinus which exrcreats +- 10-12 mg of blood and puss daily.
while in hospital this time i also contracter erythromelaligia
and have also been told that there is also no cure.
i am now suffering with both these dibilating,horrid infections and am at my wits end.
i hope that there is someone out there that can help.
