MRSA victims failing to win compensation

Link: MRSA victims failing to win compensation.

Victims of MRSA are failing to win compensation because it’s hard to pin the blame on hospitals, Which? has learnt. The superbug is linked to more than 1,500 deaths a year and has left others severely ill or disabled. But figures obtained under the Freedom of Information Act show that less than a third of claims are successful. Lawyers say this is because it’s hard to prove where and when an infection starts. Compensation Since 2000, the NHS Litigation Authority (NHSLA) has ruled on 431 MRSA claims in England, but only 135 have resulted in compensation.

My name is Brian and I have MRSA> I recently went to the hospital for treatment, and everything went great until I left... 6 hours after I arrived home I had 2 places come up on both my wrist. My left one was from an IV from hospital, and the other is from falling on the way to the hospital. The reason I have contracted MRSA is because the nurse did not have gloves on while exiting of the IV.. I have 3 wittnesses and I am gaurenteed they will pay. MRSA has been proven to be resistant and causes DEATH. I live with my fiancee, and at the age of 7 she had open heart surgery, she to is having symptoms all because they did not tell me it was infectious and more rapid in people with current or present illnesses such as heart surgery.. In the medical feild today, to all the doctors, nurses, and majority, START washing your hands, wear gloves, and stay sterile before this epedimic is the number 1 cause of death, and it will be because of your irresponsibility..

I was told by a surgeon that my MRSA was medically induced by injection. While in the hospital my WBC went up to 30,000 the surgeon removed about 300mil/liter of pus. The track of this infection was about 20 inches long and as round as a quarter. The incision left a whole about 3 inches across 3 inches deep and about 6 inches long. It took months to heal. My main concern is can I transfer this disease by body fluids to other ie;kissing, sex, runny nose. Is it now with me forever. I can't find enough information. Please help

I also told my surgeon that I had MRSA and he told me that I was connecting all the wrong dots-(I also had a witness in the room)It is just over a year now since the surgery, let alone 5 months of MRSA antibiotics and Cubicin(which is another name for Vancomicycian) and Ramphin combined together via IV-I still feel horrible everyday, the pain on that side has yet to go away and I was wondering in I am able to be compensated for this-it's unfair-I went there completely healthy and came out so sick I was out of work for 7 months
any suggestions.
Thanks
