WAR hero Jamie Cooper was warned he would be branded AWOL - because his parents tried to move him to another hospital after he caught MRSA. Jamie, 18, was stricken by the deadly superbug while recovering from horrific wounds he suffered in a mortar attack in Iraq. Parents Phillip and Caroline - furious at the standard of their brave son's care - were stunned by the reaction of top brass when they suggested switching him from Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham, to go private. Phillip, 49, said: "They told me if I did that he would be classed as absent without leave because he is still a member of the Army and in an Army facility."
